Supported Accommodation

Supported Accommodation for children and young adults aged 16-25

Our supported accommodation service combines accommodation with targetted support, providing short to medium term accommodation and bespoke support for up to 2years. It is designed to meet the needs of looked after children and care leavers aged 16-17 who are ready for more independence and responsibility in their day to day lives.

This could mean a smooth transition from the Children’s Home to the Supported Accommodation. Other young adults over the age of 18 including those who have not been in care, may be accommodated also (ring fenced and non-ring fenced).

We pride ourselves in providing professional support services to a diverse group of clients, such as those with mental health issues, learning or physical disabilities, young people at risk of domestic violence, teenage parents or young unaccompanied asylum seekers.

Each child will have their own bedroom, in our safe, secure, warm environment and will share communal areas with others. Our experienced team of professionals will work together to provide 24/7 support, to safeguard the young people and equip them with life skills (for example education, employment or training, budgetting, cooking, integrating into the local community) to aid their independence in the future.

Health and wellbeing is at the core of our values, and Serendipity Care Ltd will work with local services to provide the necessary support for the young people entrusted in our care. Serendipity Care adheres to the Supported Accommodation Regulations as well as the Quality Standards.
